First Prototype of the Multirole Ka-62 Helicopter Takes to the Air

The first prototype (OP-1) of the medium multirole Ka-62 helicopter took off at Russian Helicopters’ Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company (part of State Corporation Rostec) on April 28.  The lift in a hover mode was part of the factory flight testing and was completed successfully.

Tiltrotor by Russian Helicopters Makes Its First Flight

A unique unmanned tiltrotor has successfully completed a new testing stage by performing its first flight.  The aircraft was created by VR-Technologies, an innovative design bureau, part of Russian Helicopters. Russian Helicopters Receives Type Certification for Mi-38

Russian Helicopters, part of State Corporation Rostec, has received type certification for the medium multirole Mi-38 transport helicopter designed by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, a Russian Helicopters company. The certification confirms that the helicopter’s standard design complies with Russian and international aviation requirements. In 2016 the Mi-38 will enter serial production and launch on the Russian market. The first fuselage for the serial-production model has already been assembled at Kazan Helicopters. Ansat’s VIP Version Receives Type Certification

Russian Helicopters, part of State Corporation Rostec, announces that the new light multirole commercial Ansat with hydromechanical controls has received two Main Amendment Approvals for the helicopter’s VIP cabin and air-conditioning system from the Federal Air Transport Agency, which as of this month has taken over duties as Russia’s aviation certification authority from the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee (AR IAC). Russian Helicopters Delivers First Arctic Helicopter To Russia’s Defence Ministry

Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (part of Russian Helicopters, which is part of State Corporation Rostec), hosted a ceremony marking the acceptance of the Mi-8AMTSh-VA by the Russian Defence Ministry’s Arctic groupings. The first Arctic helicopter was developed specially for operation in the country’s north in temperatures lower than -40°С. Russian Helicopters Signs Contract With China For Delivery Of 4 Ka-32A11BC Helicopters
